today I have a chance to wander around some of Shanghai's streets - tho in a non-typical way of that - in the heart of one of the world's most fashionable cities. I can only imagine that the vast majority of people (outside of tech) still only know about chatgpt (chatbot era). True AI iteration and mass adoption is still going to take a very, very long time. Much longer than ppl expect.
In my mind, it's full of: occult Swiss, AI infra, "the completion of German idealism" and maybe a Teilhardian cosmology.

Tbh this makes me quite hesitate about my obvious accelerationism stance.

I think perhaps the time has come to start looking for a place in Switzerland.

God point. I also came to similar conclusions later on:
- this de-acceleration is, on the other hand, itself an acceleration, in the sense that it strengthens Big Tech.
- and this action harms the actual FLOSS community (which not yet defined and not yet fully realized).

Though on a longer timeline, I cannot tell whether this action is truly harmful or not. I shouldn't over-dramatize and elevate this to the level of esoteric history all at once. The next subtle acceleration, led by codeberg leavers, will be driven by: the very harm the org have done to the FLOSS community, and the darkness shadowing the souls of the radical and openness, pro-AI users who having been rejected by anti-Life orgs, now throw themselves into ULTIMATE self-hosting actions or participate in open source projects on github openheartedly.

my short comment on codeberg's "protecing...llms" blog post: I like to see an individual who works alone, and now they can work with llms. I like to see an individual without cOmMuNiTy around them but is still doing their own things.

ppl who never code but build dumb AI-slop with LLMs are LOVELIER than the Codeberg committee types. those religionless leftists (OMG, ARE WIEEE ALLOWED TO TALK THIS! RELIGION!) are filled with hatred and narrow-mindedness.
